TL;DR: Troy is committed to - and delivers on - his mission to ensure his clients are happy with their transactions. We would absolutely recommend him and his network to other buyers. When we met Troy in May, he gave a great first impression - he was patient, knowledgeable, and humorous. He stated that his mission is to make sure we are happy with our purchase, which he was and has continued to be committed to throughout and beyond our buyer/agent relationship. Troy can be safety and security minded, and may be able to help buyers who prioritize these items in particular. As a first time buyer (in 2025 no less), it was daunting trying to find the right agent and trying figure out what we were looking for in a home. Through our closing toward the end of July, Troy never felt like he was pressuring us into making decisions or steering us toward certain perspectives. He never insisted on establishing an exclusive buyer agency agreement, and he ensured that each showing was properly performed. Troy never gave the impression of being annoyed with our questions or the constantly changing scope and style of our search, which changed from a casual look at lt.$300k homes in South Saint Paul, to an even more casual search for lt.$275k townhouses throughout the southern metro, to a more motivated search for ~$400k homes in the 196 District. Troy kept in touch with us and would check-in periodically in a pleasant and non-intrusive manner. Troy's recommendations for other 3rd parties (lending, inspection, etc.) are outstanding! Everyone we have worked with on Troy's recommendation has been an A-lister, just like Troy. Closing for us was very difficult due to other circumstances, however Troy has been able to transform that trying closing and turnover of the home to us into a great experience. If any of my friends or family are searching for a buyer's agent in the Twin Cities metro, I will 110% recommend Troy.
