We worked with Troy for both selling our home and buying a new home. He knew the market well, priced the property appropriately to get attention, used all his resources including Zillow to promote the property and placed the listing at the right time, so that we were able to choose the best offer amongst many. We had an accepted offer within three days. Troy's focus did not end once we had an accepted offer, he was just beginning. I was most impressed with Troy's knowledge of the process and his savvy negotiation skills where he was constantly anticipating potential bumps in the road. While he always had our interests in mind, there were even times where he would make suggestions to the other party's realtor to avoid pitfalls that they had not anticipated for their clients. Troy also has many connections in the industry from home inspectors to contractors and was able to get them on the job quickly and keep the process moving on schedule. In this very active Portland real estate market, I was not able to get this same responsiveness from contractors and this surely saved us weeks in the process. Troy is a great guy, easy to get along with, he spends time to understand your needs and even though I am sure he had many transactions underway at the same time, we always felt like we were his only clients.
I can not say enough good things about Troy!!! He worked with us through a purchase and build of a new home and then he worked with us to sell our other home. He is so kind and patient and calming. I had several difficult times during the build of the new home and he negotiated the problems for me. We had an oil tank problem at the old house and he had many helpful suggestions and when I got upset with the company that was doing the decommision he stepped in to ease the tension.
