This was our first house buying experience and Troy was our third or fourth Realtor that we saw houses with. The first time we met he slowed the process down for us and walked us through the steps, complete with explanations of the various types of houses for sale (short sales, foreclosed, etc). He was always very upfront with us, offering his expertise after we had seen a house, giving us estimates of what he thought it would take to make it into what we wanted. Troy gave us the space we needed to look at houses and never said they were quaint or charming but offered important advice on what looked like it might need updated or reminded us to check for recent service to furnaces, water heaters etc. Troy always answered his phone or got back to you within hours, not days. It felt like Troy really wanted to find you the house you wanted, and was truly interested in that rather than making a sale.
