Tom knows the market well as a real estate agent as well as a property manager. When it was time to sell the house, he explained everything that needed to be done before putting it on the market, what made the most sense based on the house itself as well as any costs involved to make it look its best. He posted the results on multiple websites and kept us apprised of his efforts. When offers came in, when there was a counteroffer, he always gave us not just the amount, but why it was a good offer or not; if we should accept, decline or counteroffer. The market was slow at that time and few houses were selling. He did not push us to accept just any offer. He knew that waiting a bit would be worth the time. When we had settled on a buyer for the property, he helped us through the process with the buyer's Title Co. He explained everything clearly and as often as needed. From beginning to the end, he showed by his expertise, professionalism and communication skills that he was the right person to sell our house.
