When Tina Hartford, one of the realtors at Lauren Zurilla & Associates, asked if I could share my experience working with her, it was a no brainer and an opportunity I think would help others who are in the midst of the stresses of house shopping/buying. Firstly, Tina is great at what she does. She’s tactful, which I value in working with an agent, and limited the marketing spiel and gave us a great view of the good/bad/ugly. Right then and there we knew how to get the house to a place that would be attractive in the marketplace. She is in the business of buying/selling houses, and it shows. It is one thing to pull data from a specialized program, it’s another to be able to interpret it with some level of insight. It is not something I have seen with all agents, but it was something that was clear from day one with Tina. When we received offers she knew when the buyer was playing games and helped combat their tactics to get a fair sell. We walked away with not only a fair deal, but a deal that we were very happy with. And if you are a buyer, I know she can do the same for you. Lastly, and I know this is a bit long winded, but it’s important: she actually cares. There is a lot of talk you hear from agents that amounts to zero results (maybe you’ve been there too). Boy was that not the experience I had with Tina. There were numerous times where the house needed care that we could not provide that Tina took it upon herself to orchestrate and see to fruition that was above and beyond. This happened a few times. Voluntarily. Some were small, but it showed she was present. And that summarizes the full experience. She is present for the small things.

Tina was an excellent communicator from the beginning. She shared facts and provided options with explanations without feeling pushy. She listened to what we were looking for and suggested a few neighborhoods and explained why she suggested those. We were new to the area, so knew very little. Her explanations of various areas have proved to be very accurate in terms of cost of home, commute, general vibe of the area, etc. We felt like we could be honest about we liked and didn’t like in homes without being judged. Tina walked us through the entire home buying process, answered our questions, and kept us up to speed. She was friendly and professional.

I have made many moves in my career and hands down this was the best move yet! And that was because of Tina, I was undecided on buying or renting and she helped me no questions asked. She never pressured me to choose one over the other. If I buy again for any reason she will be the realtor I choose.

When we moved to Charleston 5 years ago, we moved during Covid, which was already stressful, and Tina made everything completely easy. Fast forward to selling the same home, and she was incredible. She made a stressful time super easy. We encountered a lot of hiccups, none of which due to Tina, and she was always there to help and with reassurance which alleviated a huge chunk of my anxiety. I'd recommend Tina to anyone looking for buy or sell in the Charleston area.

Tina was personable, friendly and understood our needs. She was responsive to our messages and readily available for house viewings. Her knowledge and experience helped guide us in the right direction.

Tina was very professional and knowledgeable! My family and I flew in for a few days and she scheduled multiple house tours and showed us on the spot new builds with specific things we were looking for! We are so happy with our new home and I’m not sure it would have happened without her! She is 10/10 &100% recommend!
