Tim was recommended to me through a friend that had been a tenant. He had rented from Tim while attending Mines and spoke highly of him. I had to move my grandparents pretty short notice up to Fort Collins area in January of this year. When I found out they needed to move I was 7 months pregnant. It was a very sensitive situation and Tim did a phenomenal job. He was so flexible and accomadating to me in our scenario. My grandparents had been in their home for 35 years so there was a lot to do and it was a bittersweet move. Tim understood the touchiness of the whole thing and navigated it beautifully. He made multiple trips to the house while we were packing and moving. He was very kind, helpful, and informative. There was a lot of paperwork and such to go through as I am the owner of their trust and their POA. Tim did all the work on these matters. We needed to sell pretty quickly due to my grandparents financial situation and my pregnancy. Once I had my consult with Tim and expressed this he was very upfront with me and realistic about what we needed to do and what would be the best laid plan moving forward. Once I had the house cleared out Tim had it listed by the end of that week. I had offers within 4 days and we were under contract shortly after that. He really helped with figuring out which offer was the best, safest, and quickest choice for our situation. We closed the sale on the house March 1st. Less than 2 weeks before I had my baby. I feel that Tim really went the extra mile for me to accomadate the difficulty of our situation. Once the house was cleared out he made sure I didn't have to travel down to Lakewood for anything. He had everything sent to me including a notary a few days before the actual closing so I didn't have to make the trip. This situation was so high stress and could have been much harder had I not had somone like Tim to do the footwork. I cannot recommend him enough. He is absolutely the best choice when hiring a real estate agent.

Tim Smith presents as very professional, demonstrating thorough knowledge and a lengthy experience in real estate. He knows how to deal with the common concerns and uncertainties in the process of buying or selling and is excellent at anticipating and dealing with questions or worries. His experience was invaluable in knowing how hard to push the buyer or seller in areas of potential conflict, and he was always careful to recommend the high road ethically when a less honest approach might have been attractive (such as in completing a disclosure statement). He was careful to keep in close contact with the client especially when the property was not attracting offers or there was uncertainty in the negotiations (such as in dealing with inspection objections). Even more, I was impressed that he went out of the way to make the property more attractive when viewings were scarce, such as shoveling the driveway after a storm or discussing staging of the property. I can honestly say that he was always available when I felt like I needed him for counsel or even emotional support; he is committed to his clients. I would highly recommend him for the broad spectrum of real estate needs.

Tim is very knowledgeable on the houses in the Green Mountain area, he researched comparable floor plans and their costs. He helped to recommend areas of interest that need attention. He was willing to check on the property for us as we live out of state.

I have bought and sold a lot of real estate during my life since the 1970's. Of all the realtors I have ever worked with, Tim stands out as sharing the top shelf with very few others. He was absolutely excellent in the planning, preparation, and execution of our property's sales plan. In addition, he was a great resource to turn to regarding referrals for our " to do" list. He was referred to us by our Northern California realtor, another top shelf realtor. After recently selling one or our California properties, I asked them if they could refer me to an " A-Team" realtor in the Lakewood, CO area. They said they have a matrix they use to research top shelf out of area realtors and they would get right on it. Tim was the resulting agent. I highly recommend Tim.
