With more than 30 home sales annually, I am an active Oregon and Washington Realtor® serving Portland, Salem and Southwest Washington. My experience extends far beyond selling houses—I understand the home, the land, the work it may need, and the life transition behind the transaction. Long before becoming a Realtor®, I spent decades developing rural property, renovating and flipping homes, working with new construction, operating rentals and a bed-and-breakfast, and restoring historic houses. My preservation work received recognition from landmarks and historic preservation commissions. That hands-on background taught me to see what others may miss: potential behind deferred maintenance, lasting value, and problems that should never be minimized. It is especially valuable with historic homes, rural property, fixers, investments, and unusual properties. I spent years assisting a land surveyor and property developer and working with planning departments. This gave me practical knowledge of zoning, land use, permitting, development, and complex property questions. Before real estate became my profession, I owned and operated small businesses for more than 30 years. I learned to negotiate firmly, solve problems quickly, manage projects, communicate clearly, and remain accountable. Those skills shape how I represent clients today. I am particularly experienced with inherited and probate-related homes, estate liquidation, downsizing, distressed properties, divorce, investments, and major life transitions. My estate-sale background helps families create a practical plan for preparing, clearing, presenting, and selling a property. My clients never receive a one-size-fits-all process. Some need strategic pricing, presentation, and marketing. Others need contractors, staging, research, creative solutions, or a calm advocate who can bring order to an overwhelming situation. I listen first, give honest advice, and remain personally involved through closing. I also spent years serving as a CASA, advocating for children and supporting families. That work strengthened the values I bring to every client relationship: compassion, persistence, discretion, and integrity. Real estate is rarely just about a house. It is about family, finances, change, opportunity, and what comes next. My job is to understand the whole situation, protect your interests, and help you move forward with a knowledgeable plan and confidence.
