Our experience surpassed anything we could have anticipated. Their professionalism and expertise was nothing short of miraculous in a couple situations presented that were out of their, and our, control. Their communication, recommendations, follow-up, and follow through were greatly appreciated and surpassed any expectation we could have wished for. From the prepared spreadsheet with all the facts on multiple offers, to the list of utilities and contact information when we vacate the home, we just can't say enough positive about our experience while traversing the major change in our lives of selling our home of many years. They had already researched our area and had a solid understanding of the market, comparable, recent sales, and the buyers who would be coming through to look. They helped us to price our home, provided incredible guidance and tips on preparing our home for photos and showings, created gorgeous marketing materials, and walked us through each step of the offers and contracts with patience and explanations as needed. It took a long time, but the work Ron and Jan did helped me along the way to get my house ready to sell at a high, but realistic price, then to get me a condo that really fits my needs in Brighton. Jan had told me the job isn't done until I find a place that I like. I was considering not being in a hurry to find a new home, but now I can't imagine the pain it would have been to put my stuff in storage and find a temporary place to live. They earned every penny of the commission I paid.

I'll preface my review explaining most of my time of the home buying process was spent with Jan - Ron did step in for a tour once while Jan was away - and our experience with Ron was also outstanding. I'm sure Ron lives up to the level that Jan set for my wife and I. You can't lose with this team. My wife and I began house hunting - in an extremely competitive market here, just shy of July, 2021. We knew the type of houses we wanted, and to be fair - were quite particular! In terms of the hunting process, we were probably not terribly easy to shop around for. Nonetheless, my mom introduced my wife and I to Jan: their realtor. As I loved my parents home, I felt we were in great hands already. Daily, each morning - Jan would give us a nice listing of choices - with a decent degree of flexibility, opening our eyes to options we didn't initially consider. Jan is always extremely quick to reply - no matter the time of day! I felt bad sometimes pushing the hunt into weekends here and there, but Jan's warm and kind demeanor glazed it over as if it was enjoyable to her (haha and maybe it is!) Finally, after back and forth - we had our first visit! Now my wife and I are far from our final location of the purchase, and it's not easy to make an 8 hour drive for every house visit, so Jan would FaceTime us and do elaborate walkthroughs, always calling out things she enjoyed, and things that were flags. A lot of this was a great learning experience as well, she informed us of little nuances of certain things that we'd never consider initially. Never looking down upon our choices, or belittling our limited knowledge, she was just bubbly and kind and helpful - and sharp as can be! After ultimately finding our home - Jan was exceedingly responsive and informative through the purchase - always calm. This is important, as many folks know - buying a house is not a very relaxing thing! So having Jan's easy going - reassuring demeanor, helped us feel excellent about our purchase.
