Fabulous Experience as a First Time Home Buyer! I am a first time home buyer and chose the craziest market to buy in. Luckily I was referred to Skip Adams by a mutual friend, as animal lovers and environmentalists he knew we would get along. Skip was aware that I am a local first responder who grew up in the Albuquerque area and I wanted to buy in the community I serve. After placing a few unlucky offers Skip came across the perfect North Valley gem with a perfect yard. My yard even has wild peacocks! I was in love and placed the offer. This is where Skips magic came in. I almost lost the house to an investment company offering quite a bit more. Skip contacted the seller’s agent to plead my case as a local who grew up just down the street. The seller agreed to stick with me! A few things were chaotic with this crazy market but I felt confident I was in good hands. Then days before closing the delayed appraisal came in. The house cost way more then the appraisal, I wasn’t going to be approved. Skip again jumped into action and contacted the seller to remind them how much I wanted the house and see if we could meet in the middle. To my surprise and Skips hard work the seller agreed to drop the cost of the house to match the appraisal! I closed 2 days later. Thanks to Skip Adams I found my dream home.
