If there is anything i have learned about the real estate process, it’s that the relationship with your realtor is everything. a realtor will soon come to know intricate details of your life including your values, your finances, and the cleanliness of your home. this is information that even some of my closest friends will never know. with that being said, Simon Watson has become a person i can genuinely trust. Simon has helped my sister and i with six different transactions and has become an extended part of our family. given how overprotective and involved our parents are, it is a true feat to say they approve of Simon and value his input. I am comfortable asking him any question, and really appreciate all he does from the thoughtfulness when assisting in the search for the right fit, to the sound advice he gives on inspections to look into. i started this process as a young person with no knowledge whatsoever on purchasing property and can now say i have purchased my second property at the ripe age of 28. on an educator’s salary, i don’t think i would have ever thought this possible and i don’t think i could have done it without Simon. i recommend him as someone who can help you pursue your options in the real estate market and make a decision that will fit your needs.

Simon is fantastic! He is straight forward, honest and listens to your needs. He walked through ever house with us to ensure that we were not only looking at the space of the home but also the quality. I have learned so much about homes from him. We actively worked with him for almost a year and never once did he get impatient or frustrated. He always made time to see any home we were interested in and I mean that literally we even saw a home at 11pm. Simon worked hard for us and in the end we got a wonderful home that we are so excited to raise our family in. I would highly recommend Simon!!

We just closed on our first home today thanks to Simon! I really have to tip off my hat to him for being so awesome with us. He was super patient with us which is so essential when looking for the right home which he definitely found for us :) The last thing you want is to have someone pressuring you to choose a home quick and he did the total opposite from that and of course he was great when it came down to competing with other buyers/offers. I'm an aerospace/mechanical engineer so it was great to see how much he knew about the overall integrity of a house. He pointed out things I would have never thought of so his mission was for us to not just land a beautiful home but a safe one and one that would not be a headache later on. Communication wise he was on it every single time. I for one am a spreadsheet, google calendar, organize geek so being able to work with someone so responsive, organized and professional made all the house hunting, paperwork and negotiations seem like a walk in the park. Another thing is that my wife and I brought our 2 toddlers with us each time we went to see houses and he was great with them and even pointed out things that would benefit them in the house or be a danger risk to them. Buying your first home may be one of the biggest and important steps in your life so choosing the right realtor would definitely make that experience one to remember and not one to regret so in summary I would highly recommend his services all day every day. I will definitely be going back to him if I ever buy another home and will be recommending him to my family and friends :) Hooray for Simon!

Mr. Simon Watson should be Saint Simon for his patience in helping us find, negotiate and close on a house we bought in Oakland during Spring, 2013. It was a fixer in a short sale that involved two mortgage holders. Communications and negotiations had to include all the parties who had to agree on each step. There were multiple inspections as well and each required scheduling among the same large group. When the inspections found a significant issue, Simon helped us resolve it satisfactorily. Somehow Simon kept everything together while counseling us on strategy to keep our bid on top. The purchase ended happily and the fixer is getting fixed. He is hyper observant, has great follow-through, will go the extra hundred miles on your behalf. He stuck with us through dozens of home visits, pointing out things so we would not miss them, and gave us suggestions to think about that hadn't crossed our minds. He made extra calls to help us check on possible problems, and was instrumental in getting our closing done in a timely manner. It would not have happen if not for Simon's persistence. I found Simon through reading Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I specifically found Simon because I scoured Yelp for realtors who were familiar with VA loans. Simon's name came up more than anyone else. When we began working together, it was easy to see why - Simon knew all the inner workings of the VA system and all the benefits and drawbacks to it. Sellers often usually weren't familiar with VA loans and Simon took a lot of time to work through it. Simon also gave me a dynamite recommendation on a lender who offered a rate that was .25% better than competitors. He's very knowledgeable of the entire process and at no point did I feel lost even though the home buying process is a jungle at times. I'm now living in a wonderful home and he's still checks in from time to time to make sure everything's going good.
