I purchased a home with Sheila Dunphy-Pallotta, who acted as a dual agent-she was also the seller’s agent-from over 3,000 miles away. I know: dual agent, over 3,000 miles away meaning I won’t tour the home in person nor will I be there for final walk through. There’s a few opportunities for misunderstandings, miscommunications, mishaps. I had just completed three real estate transactions with two agents here in Hawai’i , none of which went smoothly.
