We had a very special situation…our home was sold in April of 2022 by a different agent from a different agency, but the people who bought the house were allowed to start moving in before escrow closed. Just after they started to move in, the house was “mysteriously” flooded and the buyers backed out of the sale the day before escrow was to close in June. A week later they bought a cheaper house using the same agent that was representing us. THAT is a brief description of what Sara DeVries had to start with! In addition, we had already moved to California so the mitigation and remodel discussions were often done long distance. Sara was more than happy to help out by meeting with people, picking out materials and checking on progress. For eight months, Sara worked super hard for us just getting the house ready to sell. Then, when the house was finally ready, she continued to work hard by setting up/attending open houses, advertising, and sharing our house with all of her co-workers. It was a tough market during some very tough weather but as soon as it warmed up and dried up, Sara ramped up and got our house sold. Her communication throughout the entire fourteen months was consistent, timely and valuable. Sara’s constant positivity and dedication was greatly appreciated - especially considering how devastating our circumstances started out. We cannot recommend Sara highly enough. And, even though we know she can handle it, we suggest that you do not start off with a disaster like we did! Just be prepared to move sooner rather than later.
