He is very diligent and prepared, and honest in his assessment of how to market the property to its best advantage. He has worked in the area for many years and knows property values, as well as many of the other brokers - which is a plus in negotiating. He is also a great source for movers, electricians and other tradespeople who may need to inspect or do work to ready the house for a seamless sales process. He and his team do a fabulous job of preparing the home for sale - photos, staging if appropriate, open house and marketing. And then he and his team do an even better job of making sure that the seller has done everything necessary to be ready to close. He is calm and reassuring, but also enthusiastic. Sam simply has superior knowledge on how to sell or buy a house in Essex County, better than anyone else. No I didn't use everyone else, but I spoke to various brokers and he clearly had the best sense of how to position your house for sale from providing people to help fix, stage, clean, and inspect your house to showing it, pricing it and negotiating on your behalf. He has a good sense of market timing and pricing. (If you need a tradesman, just ask him. Every reference he provided was spot on. I still ask him for references...) Plus Sam is just fun to be around, making the whole process more pleasant. He has a wicked sense of humor. He is extraordinary responsive, especially texting.
