About Me
I have been in the real estate business since 1977, obtaining my Brokers license in 1982. In 1995, I joined Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate and have been active on both the sales side and management side for more than 20 years each, currently serving as Manager of our Hockessin Sales Center.
My personal business philosophy places the most value on education, communication, mutual respect, and an enthusiasm for my job.
Throughout my career, I have held positions as Sales Associate, Sales Manager, General Manager, and Training Director. I have been a Pre-Licensing class instructor since 1986 and the Director of the Delaware School of Real Estate since 1997. I consider it a privilege and an honor to both teach and work with literally thousands of agents over the years!
I have served the New Castle County Board of REALTORS® in many roles including: 1995 - Treasurer, 1999 - President, and Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee since 2008. Honors include the 2000 State of Delaware REALTOR® of the Year, NCCBOR® Hall of Fame in 2009, and NCCBOR® Ethics Award in 2012 and recently awarded REALTOR® Emeritus status for over 40 years of membership.
