Roberta was a pleasure and a wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly joy to work with on our first time home buying experience! We had so many questions and didn’t have a clue as to the process and Roberta was on top of everything. She looked at and followed up on things we never even knew to look for and we felt like we were her only clients she was so responsive. Plus, she was so excited for us and took note of everything we said and liked and didn’t like and she was able to work with our schedule for for any showing we wanted to see. We just can’t say enough good things about Roberta. Having moved to the Bay Area as a life-long educator from Chicago, I found out about Landed, a support program designed to help educators buy homes in expensive areas. As part of Landed’s support, I was introduced to Roberta to be my real estate agent – and my family and I couldn’t be more pleased. She far exceeded our expectations and was a true partner in our journey to homeownership. From the moment we met, Roberta made us feel as if we were her only client. She specializes in the “LaMOrinda” (Lafayette – Moraga – Orinda) areas, but was open to visiting homes in Walnut Creek, Dublin, San Ramon, and Alameda. Ultimately, we focused our attention in Alameda. Though Alameda was outside of LaMOrinda, I was very impressed with her persistence in learning the area, aptitude in all the steps in the purchase process, and her communication/advocacy skills in representing us. We made offers on three homes and were fortunate that that third was the charm! The home-buying process was a test of endurance and stamina, and filled with swings of emotion. Roberta was the perfect fit for us and always represented our best interests, as she was persistent in her efforts to continue moving forward, a calming influence during times of frustration, and a true professional who exhibited a strong command of her craft.
