Superb home buying experience with Randall
We relocated to Detroit, from out of state, and were keen to have a City-based realtor. We met Randall at an open house where it was obvious he radiated knowledge about all things Detroit, and Detroit real estate, so it was a no-brainer to work with him.
Throughout our interactions Randall was consistently helpful, insightful and thoughtful, plus he’s just incredibly easy to be around. We were fortunate to have sold our house and were able to look at homes with an eye to make an offer quickly if needed. Randall helped us work through the maze of options from style to neighborhood, listened to our naive questions and joyfully went with us to every place in which we were remotely interested. His understanding of Detroit housing, building and real estate was invaluable including the home tax structure in Detroit. That’s the true value of a great realtor, to understand the housing needs of clients, and to guide them to the best fit. Randall succeeds at this every single time
Within a few weeks we had decided on the location, the style, and size of home, and finally made an offer. After brief negotiations, again where we felt Randall represented our interests perfectly, a purchase agreement was signed and so began the race to close. To meet the tax rebate requirements, we had 20 days to close on our new home. That we achieved this was massively due to Randall, and the professional network he could leverage to keep everything moving along, including liaising with Michigan Department of Treasury about the tax break. It seemed to us that Randall was the central cog in this network!
Finally, when we moved in we realized a kitchen cabinet shelf was incorrect, and there was no garage door opener. Randall found out from the seller both were lost, and two days later turned up with a new garage door opener AND a shelf he custom fit in his workshop. Damn! While we have sworn to NEVER move again, if we did there is no doubt in our minds Randall would be our first call.
