In December 2018, after much thought and prayer, we decided to list our beautiful home for sale. The decision to find the perfect realtor for our house was simple, Rachel Hutchings. Rachel is a long time friend and an extremely talented realtor. She sets the bar high and overachieves on every level. Our home was under contract in less than 30 days for $1,050,000. We were ecstatic! She handled each part of the closing process with precision. Unfortunately, the appraiser undervalued our home at $970k. We were shocked, to say the least, and had to proceed with Plan B. Rachel helped us through making reasonable concessions; however, the buyers did not want to renegotiate. It was hard to pick ourselves back up after that, but Rachel helped us get through it. A few days later, we re-listed the home at $990k and was under contract in a few days. I’m not going to lie, the closing process was complicated, but Rachel made every effort to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The buyer was tough to deal with, but we got through it.
