Rachel was “assigned” to me by Realtor online as a buyer. I was looking for a property I could afford in El Paso moving from 2,278 miles away in Vermont — a difficult long-distance move. We talked on the phone; I asked questions and she answered patiently — and anything she didn’t know the answer to she researched and got back to me with the information. I looked at the properties for weeks as they came up online on the listing website realtors use. But when she really shone was when I found one that caught my attention and as soon as she could tell I was serious she sprang into action. She got crucial information from the seller’s agent and she put in my bid, and to my surprise, and joy, it was accepted! I had not yet actually seen the property in person! But Rachel walked through the house (she had already been to see it and report to me) and I was “there“ with her on FaceTime. She helped point me to find an inspector, contractor, etc. and guided me through the process with the title company and so forth. Once I actually flew to El Paso I finally met her face to face when she and I walked through the house. She was lovely, low-key but “on the ball,” as the process accelerated toward the closing. And despite my barrage of texts with this and that question she patiently got back to me every time. She accompanied me to the closing and even after that she stayed “with me,” in case I had any more questions or needed help with something. Rachel made the process of buying as smooth as I could have wanted. I would warmly recommend her.

Rachel committed herself to helping me find a home. As a new buyer she was always both willing and able to advise me both when needed and when necessary. I could not have done it without her or her expertise, especially after we were under contract. I cannot thank her enough.
