We worked with Peter to sell a long lived in and loved home. Having been a part of five recent real estate transactions, I'm amazed with Peter and his team. It took well over a year from exploring selling to actually taking the plunge. It is involved to spruce up an older home and put it in its best light. It is anxiety provoking to sell a major asset in a town I know little about. Peter and his team went beyond any expectations. Downsizing can be a wonderful opportunity to show parents that they are loved. Part of that is allowing them time to figure out the next stage. Peter first came over a year before we pulled the trigger. I was hesitant to bring on an agent early, fearing pressure to churn a quick commission. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Peter was a source of information and help. His instincts about which shrubs to prune and which rooms to paint were not just lobbed at the family to do lists, but done by him or his army of contractors. Did I mention this took over a year? His patience is admirable. This work is physically demanding for seniors. We were prepared to do anything, but Peter didn't hesitate to take care of everything. Our weekend trips to help out were often not too demanding because Peter had already gotten rid of the old furniture. From our first conversation to the misty eyed final days, Peter and team were constanty thinking of what needed to be done and doing it--proactively offering to help. When offers started coming in Peter saw them with years of wisdom. His patience was clear when cautioning against live offers where he saw red flags. Several things ended up going wrong. The whole time Peter was a rock steady source of wisdom and sanity. From bring on exactly the right engineer to counter a zealous inspector to relentlessly following up with a bank whose error threatened everything, Peter was a calm navigator through rough seas. They are wonderful to work with. I'd not hesitate to work with them again.
