Our experience working with Penny Smith as our realtor was absolutely wonderful. We can’t recommend her enough! I don’t usually write reviews but I had to share about our experience with Penny. In October, we had a few realtors recommended to us as we started the overwhelming process of house hunting with a baby! We met with a couple of realtors and Penny immediately stood out as someone who was down to earth, approachable, knowledgeable about the market and truly in it for our best interests, not just the sale. She knew the market and the particular statistics for Douglas County. From the beginning she was incredibly responsive and “on it” with everything. She was so supportive and kind about our schedule variations with our growing baby and her nap schedules and dislike of car rides. We saw 22 homes because we were picky and had specific criteria. Penny was a great resource to talk through all our criteria and be a steward of the experience. There was even a night where we were trying to decide between two homes - one that was a higher price point but that just didn’t feel “right” to me, and another that we loved for a lower price point. Penny gently picked up on my hesitation and reflected it back to me/got curious about it, instead of pushing the higher sale. In the end, we actually DID end up buying the home we loved. Penny was a word of mouth recommendation from family that also has high standards and is also rightfully picky about housing (because it IS where you spend so much time!) - so I knew if they recommended her, she must be great. We were never disappointed and also feel like we gained a friend. Even after the closing, Penny stayed in touch, providing contractor resources, checking in, and being a wonderful connection. I really have never had a realtor experience like the one she provided. Thank you for all your hard work Penny!

Penny is a professional. In any industry, you find relief as a customer when you know you've found the "right" specialist. She's very friendly and polite, but works to get to the point and execute the transaction on your behalf. Despite our real estate purchase being highly complex, she was able to navigate each hurdle without issue, communicate concerns, and find solutions with impressive efficiency. We were able to buy our dream property at reduced cost thanks to her negotiating skills, and always knew we had a strong realtor to rely on during stressful milestones. Penny is a good person, and high caliber professional. I would recommend her beyond any realtor I've worked with prior, to all family and friends without hesitation.

Penny Smith really made the selling of my house such a smooth and easy process, not to mention profitable too. She is very knowledgeable and knows the market and process well and seems to think of everything in advance. She is smart, thorough, organized and a pleasure to just talk with or get down to business and figure out a plan. She was very collaborative with me and always valued my thoughts and opinions while also sharing her knowledge and experience with me to help reach decisions. I ALWAYS felt like she had my best interests in mind and that everything she did was towards that end. This meant a lot to me. With her help and connections, we took care of some things the house needed prior to listing it. She also had it professionally staged and photographed, so well that I could hardly believe it was the same house! There was also a narrated video tour as well as drone shots that showed the property well. She did some pre-list marketing of the house that I think helped generate interest as we had many showings and offers the first few days it was on the market. The open house she had also brought in many people and generated several more offers. Penny handled all of it; the showings, offers and communications along the way. She kept me well informed with as much or as little information as I wanted and put together a very helpful spreadsheet showing all offers with relevant details and pros and cons of each and was so helpful with any negotiations. Again, she's very nice but can be tough too! I couldn’t imagine selling (or buying) a home without a great realtor like Penny in your corner. She made it all happen and we ended up closing on schedule for an over asking amount that I never thought the house could sell for! She has my business for any and all future real estate transactions I may have. If you want to work with a smart, thorough, trustworthy realtor who is also very nice! Penny is the one!

Penny helped us purchase a piece of vacant land in Colorado that we plan to build our dream house on. We currently live in Texas so navigating this was a learning curve for us. The property is in a unique situation that that requires extensive municipal development for a final build permit. Beyond simply acting as our realtor, Penny guided us through the requirements and educated us on what we would need to do to get things moving. She put us in touch with all the parties involved and the other land owners. She even recommended local hiking, places to visit, and custom home builders. I can’t say enough good things about Penny. She really made a complicated process very easy and continues to help toward our goal.

Penny Smith was our realtor for our home purchase in Castle Pines, CO. We let Penny know when we first met that we were folks who usually looked at many houses pre buying and in this case we again looked at many houses before finding the right one. Penny was patient with us throughout the entire search. In each home she would ask us questions seeing if we could complete the checklist of what we were looking for in a home. She never judged or critiqued but instead would just ask what we thought and answer questions we may have had while in each house. Penny was exactly the type of individual we were looking for in a realtor. There was never any pressure from Penny and we so appreciated that. Our home search was a long one because we lived in Florida at the start of our search, and therefore, had to fly out to look for homes. At one time we even stopped the search for a year due to the lack of inventory thinking we’d move elsewhere, but again we decided to return to CO and to Penny as our realtor. She welcomed us back like an old friend. In fact, we do consider Penny a good friend. She has a great personality and sense of humor and was very accommodating in scheduling viewings for us. Her phone calls and text responses were immediate when we had a question. Her knowledge of real estate and of the areas where we searched was vast. We felt totally comfortable with Penny as a result. Once we found the house we wanted to buy, Penny easily guided us through the process of the contract and all the steps we needed to take to purchase a home. We contacted Penny frequently and she was always informative and patient. After we signed on the dotted line, Penny continued to be supportive with questions we had. We highly recommend Penny Smith as a realtor. She is the best realtor we have ever had. She had great knowledge and expertise as she guided us throughout the process. We were referred to Penny during a very tough market after having our property on the market for six months with very little leads. We had already relocated our business to another state, and the sale of the farm was the last item that needed to be completed in order for us to move on with her real life. We were getting a lot of runaround from other realtors and not very much help especially when the market was already Complicated. We switched over to Penny and she had many creative ideas on how to market the property. She created a video showing the lifestyle that could be had on our farm people loved it!
