I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan but grew up in Southern California where I developed a burning desire for aviation at a very young age. I became one of the youngest pilots in the United States at the age of 16 (obtaining my pilot’s license before my drivers license) and received my Commercial and Instrument ratings while still in high school. I was a member of two national collegiate flying teams, performed aerobatics and competed in many North American air races including the Jim Long Memorial Air Race from California to Tucson, Arizona.
I attended San Jose State University where I majored in Aeronautics and graduated from Cal Poly University with a Business degree. While still attending college I joined American Airlines and enjoyed a 20 year career progressing through various airport operation and executive management positions, including Manager of Operations at San Francisco International Airport, Zone Sales Manager for Air Cargo and General Manager for the John Wayne Airport in Orange County, CA, before being named Director of Quality and Customer Service for the world’s largest airline. As a result of my keynote speech at the International Conference on Customer Service in 1989 I was asked by President George H. W. Bush to do a national speech on quality.
I joined former United States Congressman Ed Foreman at Executive Development Systems in 1992 as Vice President of Marketing. During this time I served as a keynote speaker, consultant, instructor of the three-day Successful Life Course and conducted in-house corporate training for Fortune 500 companies. I was a member of the National Speakers Bureau, the International Customer Service Association, the American Society for Training and Development, the American Society for Quality Control, the American Management Association and listed in three separate volumes of Who’s Who.
In 2000 I founded PRO Enterprises, a business and customer service consulting company, which fostered entrepreneurial endeavors, performed customer service coaching and implemented service improvement strategies for companies such as Nordstrom, American Airlines, Mandalay Bay Resorts and 4Giving, an online coupon and charitable giving company where I served as Chief Operating Officer.
I've now brought my considerable management, customer service and business experience to Long Realty Company as a Chartered Real Estate Consultant® achieving the “1926 Circle of Excellence” award and a proven track record as one of the top 1% of all Realtors in Tucson and one of the top 5% of all Realtors Nationally. I pledge to protect, promote and represent my client’s interests as I guide them every step of the way through the multi-phase processes that comprise the Southern Arizona real estate market.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Long Realty Cares Foundation which has contributed nearly $4.2 million to over 230 charitable organizations since 2002. I continue to enjoy a lifetime love of travel, cultures and cuisines from around the world. I choose a positive attitude based on faith everyday and have a genuine enjoyment of helping others as they continue on their own life’s journey. I would consider it a privilege to represent you should you need a real estate professional in Southern Arizona.
