My experience with Ms. Nita Chauhan was terrible. Reasons of low rating are: lack of communication and unethical practices implemented by her. I had two transaction: First, buying a new home to be built and second, selling my old house. We agreed on a certain percentage of her commission to be refunded in an email. However, later, she refused to honor her agreement and declined signing the buyer's agreement unless I sign the agreement for selling my existing house through her, so I did. After signing the Seller's agreement, Ms. Nita refused to take my phone calls and limited her contact only to text messages, even during the critical closing time stating that it is waste of her time to talk on phone. She would contact potential buyers by emails only and not even call them. Only after I challenged her to call them to find out what’s going on, that’s when she called. But, by that time we had lost two precious months of listing and I had to finalize on a lower offer. Her poor service did not stop there. Since I had already signed her for buying my new house through builder, she got her commission, out of which she owed me nearly thousand dollars as agreed per buyer’s agreement and also listed in BCCA. When Ms. Chauhan realized that I have received HAR survey, she tried to coerce me by holding the money she owed me and informed that she will give that money only if I give her good survey rating. When I declined, she refused to give me my money Finally, I reached out to her broker, who intervened to help me solve this matter and asked Ms. Nita Chauhan to pay my money. Only after that, Ms. Chauhan sent me the check. In summary, Ms. Nita Chauhan’s performance was: unethical, did not communicate effectively, and spent the least amount of time after signing agreement. Her understanding of finance is very poor, she does not pay attention to details. I would strongly caution everyone against using her services.
