Nancy is a well known phenomenon in the community for her decades' long advocacy of Seniors, having created workshops to help Seniors make housing decisions and many other activities that were gifts. Having watched as Nancy sold the house of a friend, I vowed I would sell my house before Nancy retired and engage Nancy. And I succeeded. Nancy walked me through the hardest thing I've ever done with expertise and skill and compassion. But also with, humor, elbow grease and a certain maintained momentum to get it done in a very short window. She is not afraid to pitch in to get the job done, even if it involves raking leaves or moving flower pots at the last minute. She did not blink an eye at last minute curves and glitches that arose, solving the problems with apparent ease. I dubbed her a flexible rock. She made dealing with the volumes of paper work as painless as possible and made arrangements that would accommodate me and my move. She did not overwhelm me with information but doled it out as I needed to know it, which I appreciated. Nancy is warm, empathic and utterly professional. Her recommendation of Maria Quinby, organizer, (On the Move) made my move to Senior housing in six weeks possible, after 50 years in the same house. I feel so fortunate to have had Nancy and her able team work with me. I have such gratitude.
