When Morena first called us we knew immediately that we wanted her to handle the sale of our mother's home! She was so personable, humble, and energized! When she met with us we saw just how professional she was as well. Dressed impeccably, she went on to explain how she and Sotheby's could meet our needs. Knowing that it was an older home and that our mother had just passed, she was very gentle, tactful and informative on how we could clear out mom's things, which would allow her to "stage" the home with more up-to-date furnishings. She'd check on us like a mother hen while we spent two exhausting/emotional weeks packing & giving away mom's things. One would think that she'd be calling to check on our progress, but she would call just to see how we were holding up emotionally! She and her partner, Camille, hustled furnishings in and out of the house until they felt they captured it's charm perfectly! When it came to reviewing the bids on the house, she had managed to generate so much interest in our mom's little house that it sold for $300,000 MORE than we thought it would (with approximately 30 bids in hand!). She explained the pros and cons of what each of the highest bidders had to offer, which made it easy for us to make a good choice. Now a beautiful, young family will grow up here and share a lifetime of memories, just like my husband and his brother did! Morena's upbeat, positive and unshakable demeanor made a tough situation a true adventure, with plenty to celebrate in the end! We can now buy our dream home and soon retire! Morena and Camille represented us as sellers for our condo in Rolling Hills Estates. They were so great to work with. From the second they walked in the door they made us feel like we were the most important client with a special home. We wanted showings scheduled for a certain extended weekend, as we have cats that we needed to vacate with. They were able to accommodate that request, and were very organized throughout the process. Communication and negotiating skills were top notch. All buyer’s agents knew that offers were due by Tuesday at five o’clock, but they made a conscious effort to not bother us with the little things that come up daily. We worked with Morena back in 2017 when we first came to southern CA. Morena was simply amazing. Her attention detail, really “hearing” what we were looking for, and talking through all our questions about a home sale/inspections and timing is what elevated her in our minds. Camille also has attention to details both big-picture and small. From the staging of our home, directions on gardening, and inquiring about our favorite room so she could talk specifically to that with the prospective buyers solidified in our mind that Camille was the ultimate professional and a great addition. Needless to say we followed the plan of how to position our home in the market to get the best bang and it paid off. Just wish we could bring Morena & Camille to Dallas to help us out on that side!
