I first heard about Michael Jacques & Reid Realtors through the recommendation of a friend who had a great experience working with him (His review is also in this feed). As a first time home buyer, the process was very intimidating from the start, and looking back, Michael could not have done a better job of walking my wife and I through the process step by step, from initially putting us in contact with local lenders, to looking at various properties and giving honest feedback about each one, to the final signing of our closing documents, I constantly felt like we had an advocate on our side, not someone encouraging me to buy what I didn't need or spend more than I should (all concerns that a few minutes on YouTube will but into a new home-buyer's head). Throughout the entire process, Michael showed exemplary professionalism, a phenomenal work ethic (evidenced multiple times by documents being emailed to me before the sun was up, immediate scheduling of home showings and incredibly rapid response times whenever I would text or call) and the guidance of a someone who knows exactly what they're doing; If given the chance, I would not change a thing about our home buying process with Michael Jacques & Reid Realtors; I have already personally recommend him to my sister, and will continue to do so to family, friends, and people I've never met (i.e. you). There is no reason not to reach out and at least discuss your home buying/selling aspirations with him, and in my opinion, you're really missing out if you don't at least have that conversation. When it comes time for us to eventually move, Michael Jacques will be my first call for listing our property, but until then, we're just excited to be doing life in our new home!

Michael was an excellent realtor! He was always available via text or a phone call to answer any questions that we had, and responded very quickly to any inquiries that we had. He did a wonderful job marketing our home, and I'm convinced that contributed to the quick sale of our home over asking price. We just recently sold our home in TN for a big move to Tampa Fl. Michael Jacques with Reid Realtors worked with us through the whole process. During the COVID 19 he remained diligent and encouraging through each step. He answered all our questions promptly. Our house had an offer in 2 days. Michael was everything I was looking for in a realtor and more! First and foremost integrity, honesty, and family values! Very personable and excellent people skills. He stayed on top of the problems and resolved them in a very timely and professional manner. Not once did I have to worry about any of the issues that arose. I even asked for the names of contractors, painters, locksmiths etc to make interior and exterior changes to the new house. His recommendations were spot on! Michael was truly incredible to work with! We were in a unique situation living in Germany and looking to buy in a home in Memphis. Michael went above and beyond by answering our questions at all hours of the day & night (7 hour time difference), FaceTiming with us to tour homes, and going to the Germantown water office and making our down payment for us to ensure our utilities got set up while we were still living abroad. Michael was also great at thinking outside the box to help us with the entire closing process. Instead of the normal procedure of going to a United States embassy to sign our closing documents, we assigned power of attorney to my husband’s father. This streamlined the process while allowing for a “normal” schedule with a traveling husband and life with a toddler while living abroad. This entire buying experience would not have been possible without Michael! We are so excited to move into our dream home all thanks to Michael! Highly recommend Michael if buying/selling a home!!
