I'm Michael Godley with RE/MAX Ready. Over 15 years ago I made a career change to become a Realtor and it was the best decision ever. Before real estate I enjoyed a 20+ year career in retail multi unit management with 2 national retail chains. I've always been fascinated with the idea of helping people buy and sell homes. It's such a personal process and I remember as a teenager watching a Realtor help my Grandma sell the family home. Her name was Sue and she helped my Grandma navigate the showings, open houses, eventual offers and final sale. Sue stayed in touch with my grandmother for almost 20 years making someone my Grandmother hired to provide a service into a friend. Watching that happen stuck with me for decades. When I made the leap into real estate over 15 years ago I was determined to provide my clients with the kind of care Sue did for my Grandmother. I work to assist everyone I can from First time buyers, Down sizing empty nesters/seniors, Sellers moving up to more suitable sized homes to families dealing with selling estates. I'm happy to say I've assisted buyers and sellers in all of these categories and then some including relocations and residential rentals with great success.

I was thrilled with my repeat client nominations and awards as a Philadelphia Magazine Five Star Top Realtor for 2018-2023 and will work hard to achieve that honor again in 2024. In 2020 I became a certified At Home with Diversity Realtor giving me the tools to assist the broadest base of clients achieve their home ownership goals.
