Melissa is an exceptional agent who recently helped my husband and me purchase a home in Ottawa Hills. We presented several challenges that Mel took on with ease: we were first-time buyers, lived across the country, and were quite particular in our preferences. She had deep experience in the neighborhoods of Toledo and took a data-driven approach to identify and ultimately submit a winning offer. What we loved most was her professionalism, responsiveness, passion, and her deep knowledge of the local market. What's more, she's an absolute joy to partner with. We're so thankful we had local friends refer us to Melissa - something we will certainly be passing on to others.

Melissa was a breeze to work with. Her ability to grab attention and lay the framework from the beginning of the process through the end was insightful, making difficult situations much easier to endure. Something very noticeable to me in hindsight was the devotion of time throughout all hours of the day in & out of normal business hours as things get pressing. I'd work with her again and highly recommend.

This was our third time working with Melissa over the past 8 years (2 sales and 1 purchase), and there's a reason we keep going back to her!! She is incredible. As long as we're in the area, I will never use anyone else (we've moved a few times and unfortunately have had experiences with other realtors...). Her knowledge of the market and the process is endless. She makes you feel so at ease and gently guides you through a stressful event like it's nothing! Her attention to detail and dedication to her job are mind-blowing -- I mean, she was down on my floor re-arranging my bookcases for staging on photo day -- she genuinely cares so much! She will keep track of all the insane things you have to do in the sale/purchase of a home and make sure that you don't miss anything. Our most recent sale was a bit challenging, but she went above and beyond to make sure the deal went through. And let me assure you (we've been on both ends of the spectrum), it does not matter what your price range/sale price is, she will treat you like you are the most important client she has ever had. Honestly, on closing day, I was a little sad that I wasn't going to be talking with her regularly anymore. She is just the sweetest person and she truly knows her craft. I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again!!

Being first time sellers, we had no idea what to expect and we truly credit Melissa for her help and guidance throughout it all. We decided we wanted to list as soon as possible, Melissa was quick to schedule a walk through with us where she gave us many tips and recommendations for staging/listing/showing. We had few additional questions after meeting with her as she pretty much touched on anything and everything! She had everything scheduled and ready to go within a week! We feel these things really helped us get the amount of interest and showings that we did. She also helped us understand the selling market at the time, gave recommendations about listing price and ultimately let us choose. After receiving some offers, Melissa quickly gathered important info from each and called us to talk us through everything. Melissa was very patient with us in regards to how long we took to understand everything and answering any questions we had. We feel she really helped us consider everything but did not push on anything to help us come to a decision. It can be a stressful time selling a house but we feel Melissa helped make it go as smooth as possible.

My wife and I worked with Melissa for a long time looking for investment properties. It was a tough market, but Melissa was patient and helped us through every step. We finally found one and she handled all of the tedious work with ease. I'd highly recommend her to everyone.

Melissa was great throughout the entire process. She was patient with us in looking at homes (although it didn’t take long to find ours). She was responsive and availability was very flexible so we were able to schedule viewings at good times for us. She was very helpful in pointing things out during home viewings, things that we wouldn’t have noticed ourselves. Melissa was also very knowledgeable about general things regarding homes in the area and was able to answer many of our questions. When we were ready to put in an offer on a home, Melissa was very helpful in explaining our options and took care of everything as expected.
