Melissa is without question the best Real Estate agent I have ever worked with. My Wife and I have purchased 4 homes together now and at this point have a pretty good idea of what a good agent does and how not so great agents perform. In the end the thing that sets Melissa apart is her advocacy. In my experience once escrow closes and the agent gets paid, they never tie up all the loose ends that they promised to take care of. They magically disappear more often than not. In our case we are moving from the Bay Area to San Diego. We are not close enough geographically to ensure the seller and the seller's agent are meeting their pre close commitments to us such as ensuring the house is left in the same shape it was in when we made the offer. Ensuring things like the solar is transferred to our name, making sure a house cleaner comes in and cleans before we arrive..addressing issues with the pool that we were not aware of...all the things that can make the actual move it process much more difficult than it should be. Melissa went the extra mile after escrow closed to ensure a smooth move in process and held all parties involved accountable to their commitments. I honestly can't say enough about her! She is truly "best in class" and will NOT leave you holding the bag when you need her the most. In the future all real estate agents I encounter will be measured by the standard the Melissa set. We love her for all she did for us.

We met Melissa several years ago at an open house before we were ready to buy when we were first starting to see what kind of houses/areas we may be interested in. At that time she took the time to listen to our situation and made a few suggestions - especially on a great lender to work with on VA financing - Ken Bates at Military Home Loans. Come forward to last fall and once we had our ducks in a row and were pre-approved with financing we turned to Mellissa to represent us as our buyers agent. She remembered everything we talked about from the first meeting when we connected again, listened to us further and opened the flood gates to show us homes that could work for us. Once we found the home that would work us, a trustee sale, she was a champion negotiator to ensure we received the most for our investment. She made sure required repairs were completed properly, broken items including complete HVAC, dishwasher and stove were replaced and overall the house was fully functioning, safe and secure. Several years ago Melissa left her flyer at our condo. My wife contact Melissa in regards to selling our condo. After a long conversation Melissa convince my wife it wasn't in our best interest to sell at that time. Last summer we call Melissa to see if the conditions had change. She said she needed to do a market analysis and get back to us. I guess the time was right as Melissa sold our home in 5 weeks. She is very organized, knowledgeable, pays attention to details, listens well, and keeps her clients informed of what's going on.
