It was the worst of times to sell a home, high gas prices, overseas war drums, high interest rate mortgages and definitely a Buyer’s market. We encountered one interested Buyer early on that agreed to a contract and then nervously sat through 5 months of no other interest while the contingency Buyer tried to sell their home. We were super anxious to receive any good news. Melanie did her best to keep us informed and confident our home would close.
