Megan, recently sold our house for us. In our first meeting, Megan provided us with a detailed analysis of our property that included comparable properties and a strategy for selling our house. Once we agreed to allow her represent us, she immediately went into action and arranged professional photographs, expert staging of the house, and even set us up with her handy-man to fix minor things with the house that could affect the sale. Throughout the entire process, she answered all of our many questions and advised us while allowing us to make informed decisions regarding our property. Once the time arrived to list the house, she worked closely with all the agents and conducted an open house that same weekend. Once the offers started coming in, she remained engaged with all the other agents well into late Sunday night until we settled on an offer. Again, she gave us the necessary advice to make the best decision for our family. In the end, we accepted an offer $50k over our asking price even though it wasn't the highest offer. I'm convinced we were so successful due to Megan's meticulous preparation leading up to the listing and her willingness to go the extra mile to sell our house quickly for the maximum amount possible. I have to admit that I'm a cynic when it comes to agents of any kind and have been underwhelmed with many real estate agents in my lifetime. I can't say enough about Megan and Katie (Fass Results Group) who helped me sell a property that I thought was unsellable and had almost given up on. This property which I was no longer living in and had been vacant for 2 years was distressed and in need of a lot of work. Megan and Katie pointed me in the right direction and suggested the improvements which would give me more bang for my buck. They also gave me contacts for the improvements that needed to be made who did an outstanding job and were reasonably priced. I seriously do not think this property would have sold, or sold in such a short time if it hadn't been for their advice on listing price, improvements that had to be made and even helping me slightly stage it with some of my stuff and some of their stuff. When closing happens in less than 24 hours I will literally feel like there is not only a monkey off my back but a 1,200 lb gorilla. Megan helped us to buy our first home and did awesome job. She was great throughout the entire process! Considering that we were first time home buyers, we had no clue as to what to expect or how the process worked. She was patient, helpful, honest and always available (even if she was out of town). All of the paperwork was done electronically, which is a great time saver, especially when you want to make adjustments to an offer. Megan was absolutely great to work with, and we were very glad to have her as our agent, she brought really useful knowledge, experience, a positive tone, sound judgment, and a great understanding of realty transactions. Additionally, Megan was able to connect us to several key services (mortgage broker, home inspector, etc.) and they all proved to be wonderful as well - the people handling our mortgage paperwork were fantastic at keeping in constant contact and updating us while keeping things moving with escrow and the bank. Megan was our agent when we purchased our home in Arlington VA in 2011. She gave excellent guidance all through the process. I'm still grateful for her cautioning us not to overpay on the first home we put a bid on (my wife and I got a bit carried away), and instead she helped us find another home that we ended up liking even more.
