Mark Johnson is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty and a partner in The Johnson Home Group, a family real estate team serving Hudson, WI, the St. Croix Valley, Western Wisconsin, and nearby Twin Cities communities. Mark focuses on residential homes, relocation purchases, new construction, and waterfront properties throughout St. Croix County while also assisting clients who live or work in the eastern Twin Cities suburbs such as Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Stillwater, and Lake Elmo. Many of the buyers Mark works with are relocating from Minnesota to Western Wisconsin in search of larger homes, more land, and a quieter lifestyle while still maintaining convenient access to employment centers in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Real estate has always been a part of Mark’s life. He grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin, where his father Wayne Johnson built a long-standing career helping buyers and sellers throughout the St. Croix Valley. While attending the University of Wisconsin–Stout, both Mark and his brother Brian Johnson obtained their Wisconsin real estate licenses and began working alongside their father during school breaks, weekends, and summer months. That early hands-on experience allowed them to learn the business while helping clients purchase and sell homes throughout Hudson and St. Croix County. After graduating from UW–Stout, Mark and Brian both moved into full-time real estate careers and continued building the family business together with Wayne, eventually forming what is now known as The Johnson Home Group.
Outside of work, Mark remains deeply connected to the Hudson community. He and his wife Sarah, who is a local school teacher, are raising their three children in the area and stay active through school activities and youth sports. Mark also volunteers his time coaching youth athletics and supporting organizations such as the Hudson Boosters, Hudson Basketball Association, and the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce. Living and raising a family in Hudson gives Mark a personal perspective on the schools, neighborhoods, outdoor recreation, and lifestyle that draw many families to the St. Croix Valley. His local knowledge and long-standing community connections allow him to guide clients with practical insight when buying or selling homes in Western Wisconsin and the surrounding Twin Cities region.
