Marilyn helped sell my elderly cousin's home. My cousin has some dementia, and Marilyn was gentle and kind in dealing with her. She made sure that my cousin was always considered in the negotiations. She also went beyond the range of a realtor and showed up to sweep up fallen leaves, prune shrubs and get the place looking its best. Instead of assuming my cousin would remember to show up at closing, Marilyn arranged to pick her up, and deliver her home. She even helped secure the movers to move my cousin to her senior apartment facility. She has been nothing but kind, generous and an amazing friend. And no one asked her to do more than sell the house!

She called me with feedback from every showing and open house. When I moved, and the house was empty, she kept the house in perfect condition. She arranged a two-year lease with the option to buy, and explained, in detail, everything I needed to know. She would contact me on a regular basis, during the two years. She gathered all of the information I needed, and went with me to the City of Birmingham Appeals Board so I could appeal the taxes during that time. When the lease was due to expire, she worked on all of the details to complete the sale.
