A lifelong resident of Bergen County, Marianne, her husband Bill, an attorney in Paramus and their four sons have lived in Upper Saddle River since 1981. While raising her family, Marianne was a volunteer in the school system, treasurer of the USR Soccer Association for twelve years, CCD teacher and active member of The Church of the Presentation.
Marianne holds a B.A. degree and Teacher Certification from Montclair State University in Home Economics. She taught for a number of years at Lodi High School. Her concentration in Sewing Construction and Design, Interior Design, Child Development and Consumer Economics has proven invaluable in the area of real estate. Her ability to look at a house and guide her clients through the process of renovating and decorating enables her buyers or sellers to see the potential in a house to fit their needs.
Marianne has an in-depth knowledge of the people and community through her eighteen years as a substitute teacher in Upper Saddle River and Northern Highlands Regional High School. Her strong commitment to the area, her knowledge of the school systems and her familiarity with all the towns in Bergen County is an asset which Marianne brings to her clients.
In her number of years at Terrie O'Connor Realtors, Marianne has worked with numerous first time homebuyers guiding them through one of their first and most significant financial investment while anticipating any challenges that may arise. She has listed and sold multiple homes involved in estates, where her sensitivity and guidance for the family is of utmost importance. Working with appraisers, mortgage lenders, home inspectors, attorneys and primarily her client’s needs and desires have led to many successful transactions for her clients, whether they are buyers or sellers.
