If you are looking for a real estate agent to sell your home or buy a home or do both, I highly recommend Lorri Rosenberg Arazi. We wanted a home in Alameda that was in our budget—not an easy goal--and she helped us find a place we love. We wanted to sell our old home at a price that initially seemed more wishful than achievable, but Lorri made it happen. She is hard working, completely professional, and deeply knowledgeable. She’s long worked in the East Bay and is well acquainted with the real estate market of every village, town, and city. She possesses a long list of all resources you could possibly need to sell or buy a home—from mortgage brokers to movers to staging designers to someone who will haul your junk away. Equally important, the people she recommended did excellent work at a fair price. In sum, if you want to buy or sell a home in the East Bay, I don’t think you can do better than call Lorri Rosenberg Arazi.

Lorri is, simply put, the best. I'd lived in my Oakland Hills home for 30+ years. Built in 1968 or so, we'd done improvements along the way, especially to the exterior, but the interior needed a lot of love. When Lorri first came over, she didn't immediately start talking about what needed to be changed. Quite the contrary, she talked about all the things she loved about the house and its potential for an affordable Midcentury Modern makeover. I followed her lead all along the way and, when I got to go to the "big reveal," it wasn't my house anymore. It was a home ready for any person or family to step into and love for at least as long as I loved the place. She nailed the price point and marketed the property so many folks came through. Ultimately, it sold for over-asking to a young family who will fit in with the neighbors on our friendly cul-de-sac. As if that weren't enough, she scouted out realtors in Tucson, where I moved. One of them found a desert home for me that is beyond my wildest hopes. Her incomparable knowledge of the local market, her design vision, her collaborative style, it's all there. As I said at the start, she's simply the best.

After 23 years I decided to sell my 1927 bungalow in the Oakland Hills. I contacted my previous Realtor who had just retired. She recommended a few that she held in high esteem and I met with them.
