Downsizing from 5.22 acres, on a hill, to a .32 flat lot. Oh so happy !!!
Selling our place was the only solution to give me more time to help my parents. Could we find someone to help us ? Would anyone want to buy our place ? Should we really sell ? Buying and selling is so daunting.
Turns out I had already been in contact with our future realtor. A friend from many years ago. During our first meeting, Lisa and her husband answered all our questions. We learned that there were quite a few folks interested in country property.
I remember staging day. Lisa was going to work inside while Kurt gave me many helpful presenting ideas, outside. The results were amazing. The photographer captured the simple beauties inside and out.
Lisa always made time for me to view various places, even ones I came across. There was quite a list of wants: no stairs, a shop, a simple landscape, etc.
We came upon the perfect match. It was so exciting when our bid was accepted. A few hours later, our bid was rejected.
We looked at many options, changing our desire list. We were so discouraged. The few positive places were, quickly, off the market. I felt bad for Lisa spending so many hours helping us.
One afternoon Bob and I were sitting in the Moscow Safeway parking lot. Both of us bummed. We were ready to give up. We were about to head home when a call came from Lisa. I answered to a very excited realtor. I was stymied. She told us our perfect place was back on the market. Before she could ask, we were already saying we wanted to bid again. Our bid was accepted. How grateful I am that Lisa was available when our place listed again. Lisa was sure we would have no trouble finding a buyer and our buyer would have no problem finding a buyer.
The paperwork was daunting and confusing. Lisa was so patient to explain everything. I appreciate the promptings to sign right away.
Lisa dealt with us, wisely. One of us is a procrastinator, the other is a get things done yesterday. She was able to make everything run smoothly, inspite of her busy schedule.
Thank you !!!
