Lisa Palumbo

I talked to Lisa Palumbo off and on for several years about possibly selling my two-family rental in Northampton, MA. When I finally decided I was ready she was the obvious choice to list it. I decided to sell quite suddenly and she was able to jump in and list the house within a very quick timeframe. I live over two hours away from the property I was selling. There was quite a lot of prep that needed to be done to the building,- some repairs, arranging for various inspections, clearing out debris, doing a final clean-up of the yard and so on. Lisa lined up all the work that needed to be done using her extensive network of reasonably priced contractors. She found me an excellent, and again reasonably priced, attorney who was extremely helpful in dealing with the tenants as well as the closing. Both apartments were rented and the tenants were shocked that I was selling. Lisa did an amazing job working respectfully with the tenants, giving them very clear and timely notice when she or a contractor needed access to the apartment, helping them look for new living situations, and acting as go-between for me when necessary. Her showings yielded useful information which she shared with me. She worked well with the buyers' realtor and negotiated a very good sale price for me when issues arose with the inspection. Lisa is proactive, tells it like it is, is quick to answer all communication and is really enjoyable to work with. I recommend her highly.

Lisa did an amazing job helping us buy our first home. Her knowledge of the Pioneer valley area is exceptional. She also has a great understanding of the things to look out for when buying a new house. She took the time to understand what we were looking for in a house and never pressured us in anyway, making sure that we wouldn't buy something unless we were completely satisfied with it. We ended up purchasing a new construction home, and she helped to make everything go smoothly when speaking with the builder. We wouldn't have known all the right questions to ask without her. She was able to recommend a great mortgage broker and real estate attorney for us to work with. She had an in depth knowledge of every aspect of the process. We'd highly recommend Lisa to anyone interested in buying a home in the Pioneer Valley area.

It's hard to overstate how glad we are that Lisa was on our team during our home search, especially as first time buyers. We had an extremely complicated and drawn out home buying process (moving from out of state, crazy market, tricky negotiations), and Lisa guided us through each step. She is super knowledgeable about the market, has tons of contacts, is quick with responses to questions and offer suggestions, and is committed to helping clients find the right home. We're now settling into a home we love, and are grateful for Lisa's help making that happen.

Over the two years or so that Lisa helped us relocate to the Northampton area, she constantly kept us informed about new listings that might fit our criteria and patiently worked with us as we narrowed our search. When we found a place that we wished to pursue, she guided us to making a strong offer, and she was tremendously helpful in every step of the purchase process, including recommending terrific local people to work with. She definitely earned my highest praise.

Lisa sold a house for us that was part of an estate settlement. The house was interesting, historic, and in need of some attention. We needed to sell the house quickly in a market that was on the down turn. Lisa guided us through what to us, was a unfamiliar process, and had extremely valuable local knowledge. She went above and beyond to assure that our desire for a quick sale was achieved. She also knew the right vendors to make sure the house was prepared for sale. We live in another state, so it was crucial for us to have some local to deal with all the issues. She was wonderful to work with in the role. She has superior negotiating skills and brought in a buyer who made the purchase within the time frame we needed. She is very conscientious, personable, and experienced. We were fortunate to have her work on our behalf. We made the right choice in selecting her.

She is well-networked and provided excellent recommendations for inspectors, lawyers, lenders, and other professionals. She was proactive in identifying properties that met our needs and ultimately helped us find and close on a place we are very happy with. I would not hesitate to work with Lisa again!
