Laura is awesome. She's super knowledgable, extremely organized and competent, easy to work with, and, above all, patient. I just bought my first house (2nd time for my boyfriend, who had had a less-than-ideal experience the first time around) with her after an EIGHTEEN MONTH search process. Throughout that time, Laura and her team, not only supported me on each of the 5 offers I made and never dropped the ball on reviewing docs quickly/getting questions answered, but also shot straight with me. If there was a major issue that Laura knew I would later come to regret, or if I was getting emotionally invested and wanting to pay more than was reasonable, Laura would give me her take, even though it meant less commission/a more drawn out process for her. Laura was our agent in selling our 2 bedroom condo in Hayes Valley this spring, and we ended up choosing her based on these Yelp reviews so I guess I'll post my own :) Our situation: we were inexperienced selling in the city, inexperienced selling in an old building (victorian), and with a lot of other stuff going on in our life right now we wanted someone who we could trust to guide us through the process rather than having to stress out about every little decision we had to make. I think we got what we wanted in Laura. In our initial meeting she seemed confident and knew what she was talking about, so we felt ok trusting her. For each decision that needed to be made, she would ask us what we wanted to do, and then I would ask back "what would you recommend?" In most cases she had a good answer which we could just go with, which worked for us. When it came to work that needed to be done, such as painting, cleaning, and repairs, Laura had her own people she could recommend and book for us, all of which were a pleasure to work with. Along the way there were lots of forms that needed to be filled out, documents signed, etc - for the most part this was all done electronically, via Docusign and other tools, which made the paperwork much more convenient than I was expecting. All in all the entire process from start to finish went *extremely* quickly and efficiently, almost scarily so, and at the end we got a very good result in terms of offers and price.

We interviewed three brokers. Laura was the most prepared regarding how and when best to sell our property. She also struck us as completely honest and straightforward. Selling our house was a difficult decision to make and we weren't sure what work we needed to put into it to help it sell. Laura had a clear vision regarding how our house could present to the market and she both very relaxed about the process and very assured, which made us feel in good hands and diminished our stress level. We felt confident she could handle any eventuality with grace. Her team made our house look spectacular in video, online, and in print photographs/brochure materials.
