Made sure it was all explained to where we understood the selling process , and also what was all involved in selling a property n house . We listed our home twice with another realtor and despite offers, the sale never went through. We listed with Kelley Blackburn & she listed & sold our home. Pictures are a big part of selling a home & using a professional photographer made a huge difference.

Right from the get-go, Kelly comes across as someone who has a lot of experience dealing with all aspects of buying and selling a home. For us, that meant she understood how to listen to what we were looking for and get us matching recommendations from the MLS. We had very particular needs regarding both the home and the location (we needed a large shop in South Lakeland). Even with those stipulations, Kelly kept coming up with great properties. Once we identified some homes, she was very flexible in scheduling visits to see the homes. She also was very blunt about several properties that had issues we would find difficult to overcome (location, required maintenance, etc.) When making an offer for what is now our home, Kelly managed the process well. Contract negotiations, appraisal, inspection, and everything was handled professionally, and she answered all of our questions. She did so well, in fact, that the seller told us that our Realtor (Kelly) was far more communicative and helpful than his! We would highly recommend Kelly to anyone in the area who wants to work with someone who not only loves their job but also is very good at it.

Kelley helped us sell my parent's home. As my parents are in their 80's and need a little help, we wanted there to be as little stress as possible for them through this process. She was asked to communicate with multiple family members before checking with them. As adult children we were trying to help with any issue we could before worrying them. She lined up a house cleaner so it would sparkle before placing it on the market, she had a painter touch up a couple areas to enhance its appearance, she had a handy man and carpet cleaner involved to optimize it all! As a first-time homeowner, the process of buying a house seemed very intimidating. After working with several agents who only seemed interested in closing a sale, I was more than a little distraught. However, once I met with Kelley, I began to feel much more at ease. Through her actions, it was clear that she had a personal goal of helping us find our dream home. She remained extremely vigilant, contacting me almost daily with any new listings she found. She did thorough research on every listing we viewed and helped to reveal any potential resale/maintenance issues that would have gone unobserved by myself.
