My sister and I called her late in the day asking to see available properties and Kathy offered to stayed late in the day to meet with us. While Kathy was showing us some properties we had requested to view she also brought us to other properties which matched our criteria. We “hit a home run” when we asked Kathy Joshi to help us find a home in Weybourne Landing in Ocala, Florida. Kathy just happened to answer the phone when we were looking for someone to help us find a place to live in On Top of the World. Kathy met me at her real estate office on May 5th to find out what kind of house we were interested in. She already had 7 houses ready for showing. By 1:00PM I had found the right house. On May 6th she presented a contract to the seller, and the rest was history! She held my hand through the entire process and contacted me frequently to see how I was doing and did I have questions or need help. She explained every document and made sure I signed and got everything done on a timely basis. Kathy has a bubbly personality and kept the atmosphere light and constantly reassured me that it was all going well through the process. We closed out on the house we sold in Marietta, Georgia on May 29th, moved out of our Georgia home , and headed to Ocala on May 30th. On June 8, we closed on our new home in Weybourne Landing. Kathy made our move and transition easy. The closing was a breeze! We moved into our new home on June 10th. It couldn’t have gone smoother. Her office was must welcoming - offering tea and cookies and cool air out of the hot sun. My pup was so welcomed with treats and water served to her like she was family. I truly was glad that I choose the office Inside top of the world as the listing agent had no idea of the important specifics needed to make educated decisions without extended time and possible wrong answers. At closing, she provided all the resources I needed to obtain my mail, sign up for maintenance requests, get my car sticker, home ins and even had a list of handy people if needed. Kathie was on top of things at all times she had many open houses. I was not living there so things could get a little messy around there and she made sure they got cleaned up and taken care of to make your house more presentable. Just happen that it’s a hard market to sell a house in right now and it took a long time, but I never doubted that she could do it. She was helpful and kept me informed. Kathy was the listing agent on a property and worked with enthusiasm representing both the seller and me. She was quick to respond and very knowledgeable of the process and intricate requirements of the HOA. She went out of her way to make contacts with people on my behalf making the process much more efficient. On the actual closing date I was unable to utilize my vehicle and she took the time to drive me to two offices so that I could get my mailbox keys and my vehicle gate pass. I was aware she had another appointment but kindly made sure I had what I needed to get al least partially moved in.
