Kathryn Porter was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She began her Real Estate career in 1997 and specializes in helping her clients buy and sell residential real estate in the Boise, Idaho area. A full-time licensed REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty Boise, she holds the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) professional and the Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI) designation designations.
Kathryn is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Idaho Realtors and the Boise Regional Realtors.
A National member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® since 1998, Kathryn has served on the local Capital City Chapter governing board as Secretary in 2003, Treasurer in 2004 and 2005, President-Elect in 2008 and President in 2009. She also served on the state level as the Women’s Council Secretary in 2010. Kathryn has received the Council’s “Member of the Year” award in 2005, “Entrepreneur of the Year” award in 2013 and State Women’s Council “Member of the Year” in 2014. Served in 2017 as the Idaho State Governor for the Women’s Council of Realtors.
Kathryn received the Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) award in 2011. Kathryn served as a Director on the Ada County Association of REALTORS® board in 2010. Kathryn has been involved in many community projects, including: Toys for Tots, Paint the Town, Habitat for Humanity, Rake-Up Boise, the Keller Williams Realty RED day annual community give-back event and KW Cares.
Kathryn has been married to her husband for 30+ years, has three grown children and nine darling grandchildren. She also enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family at her mountain cabin.
