As first-time home buyers, we had no idea what we were doing as we started thinking about purchasing our first home. Kate is extremely knowledgeable and was there every step of the way during the process. Not only was she very responsive whenever we had questions or wanted to see a home, she made efforts to protect us as well. There were a couple of homes that we liked that, in retrospect, had red flags that we overlooked. Kate made sure that we thought about all of the pros and cons before we moved forward to putting in an offer on any home. I can’t recommend Kate enough, she did a great job in helping two inexperienced homebuyers find their first home!

Kate helped us sell our home in Saline and buy this home in Brighton six years ago. Even though we were extremely happy with her, we decided to go with another agent in the area that made huge promises. What a mistake!!! Our home sat on the market for 6 months - overpriced and unsuccessful. We called Kate as soon as the contract ended and asked her to help us. Kate came in ready with a plan. She restaged our home to show the possibilities for potential buyers, she had us write what was great about the house and the area and remove items that were personal or cluttering. She also helped us confidently price our home. Kate went above and beyond when she researched the hand-painted mural in our in-door pool area and displayed the information for potential buyers to enjoy. Kate went live on our listing on a Friday and by Sunday we had two, above list-price, cash offers. We ended up selling to a beautiful family with 3 children. She also highlights the cool and unique features of homes which I especially loved when in royal oak and Ferndale. She was great at filtering houses based on what I liked and disliked. Her knowledge of the property is not the most impressed I have been by Kate, it is definately her way of handling many personalities from sellers, to buyers agents and potential buyers with grace and always in kindness.
