I am admittedly someone who likes to over-prepare, so we met with Karla months before we even planned to get pre-approved for a mortgage. From the day we went to see the house / see if we liked it in person to the day we closed and had keys in hand, it took 34 days (31 days after our offer was accepted and we were moved into our house 35 days after we saw it initially).
