Kara Lamar has a passion for people and a keen eye for residential real estate. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Kara has always appreciated the art of southern hospitality and the special place that is home. After graduating from Baylor University with a double major in Marketing and Business Management, she began a busy career in corporate marketing for a management consulting firm in Dallas, Texas, an experience she says greatly impacted and enhanced her ability to connect with clients and listen to their needs. Kara takes pride in working hard for her clients, both buyers and sellers, every single day. She is constantly researching, networking, and staying in-the-know to provide the best client experience and outcomes possible. Often, a dream home isn't found on the open market, making it all the more important to have an agent who is willing to go above and beyond on your behalf. Kara and her husband, Chadwick, who practices law in the Birmingham area, live in Mountain Brook with their daughter, Alice. She is a member of Redeemer Community Church and is actively involved in the Birmingham alumni group of Chi Omega. She has also supported the Birmingham community through her service as a Junior Board member of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Kara works with clients in all stages of life. Whether purchasing a home for the first time, moving as you grow your family, making a career transition, or settling down in your forever home, Kara will make it happen.
