When I told my family where and how I found Kalvin through Keller Williams they said “wow they’re like the Fletcher Jones of Real Estate” I didn’t know it at the time but Kalvin truly lived up to and exceeded those expectations greatly. I met Kalvin at an open house in January 2024, and we began communication then. (I had been communicating with a couple other highly experienced realtors who are family friends.) In July, I randomly saw a listing in the heart of Little Saigon that I felt excited about. Here are a couple important details about my purchase. 1) My entire closing process was 15 days, and because everyone was highly prepared and motivated, we finished everything with a couple days to spare. 2) Kalvin negotiated for additional repair credits including a one-year home warranty and a replacement door by conducting additional research. 3) My purchase price matched both the listing price and appraisal estimate. What sets Kalvin apart from other realtors I've met is his ambition to not only build his clientele and reputation but also to solve problems. To successfully negotiate and help people buy homes in today’s competitive market involves unwavering determination to resolve every single problem that arises. There were many moments when I felt hopeless; I needed a realtor who was resolute. I had started going to open houses in 2022, lost many bids, and had to put my home-buying goal on pause because I felt overwhelmed and intimidated. But when working with Kalvin, I had no hesitation telling him exactly want I needed and wanted. And more importantly, he understood. Even today, 2.5 months after settling into my new home, I still cannot believe that I am a homeowner. I am filled with immense appreciation for my realtor and feel that while luck had much to do with this challenging process, preparation and experience on Kalvin’s end sealed the deal.
