As any out of state move would entail, we had a good share of anxiety whether we would be able find a home that we would enjoy in a completely new environment and finding a realtor seemed like the most important step in relieving that stress. Julian Friedman has been an absolutely outstanding agent to work with for finding a home; as well as being a welcoming presence to the Bellingham area. We worked with Julian prior to moving to the Bellingham area to set an agenda so that we could work expediently and strategically when we arrived after the start of the year. Julian Friedman is a go-getter, just the kind of agent we needed in Bellingham’s tight market with a limited inventory of mid-priced condos. Because we had a limited time-frame, we wanted an agent who could aggressively help us with our search and who was well-connected in the real estate business. Julian fit both. In short order, he identified an off-market condo that was perfect for us. He lined up an inspector immediately and worked with the buyer’s agent to get us HOA documents quickly. When our offer was accepted, Julian identified a closer who could close in a week. He was good at explaining aspects of the transaction we didn’t understand and followed up on loose ends right up to closing. It was an amazing and ultimately very satisfying experience. Julian’s team is a pleasure to work with. In particular, Kailee Rose, executive assistant, has that rare quality of being both energetic and patient. She’s efficient and conscientious, and persevered in ensuring all logistical tasks were accomplished in a timely manner. Julian was very helpful throughout the entire process. It was an emotional time selling and preparing my fathers house after he passed and he helped with every part of the process to get the house ready to sell. He was even able to be flexible with last minute changes in plans and limited budget for projects before selling the house. He made this process smooth and quick, and his advice lead to selling the house for much higher than we thought we could get for it. Julian and his team went above and beyond for my wife and I as first-time home buyers. He was patient and understanding as we searched for the perfect home for over five years!
