This guy!!! John is not deserving of anything less than a 5 star review! He has so much attention to detail. Attentive, enthusiastic and responsive are three words that come to mind. We have had bad experiences with realtors before. John helped us sell our current home. He always has his clients best interest in mind. Don’t call anyone else. Where do I even begin? Short version: John is AMAZING & you need to hire him! Long version: I honestly and truly do not believe we could have sold our home or maximized the current market without John’s help! When we sold a property two years ago, John had reached out because he noticed we were sharing photos of it on our Facebook page. At that point we were already under contract with another realtor and I thanked him for reaching out. I remember being impressed that he took initiative to contact me after seeing the photos. I started following him on social media and noticed that he seemed to be quite active in the industry and highlighting the properties he had for sale. He was sharing these listings from such a personable standpoint that it definitely piqued my curiosity. It was clear to see that he was definitely not the traditional realtor! This year, my husband and I were considering making a big life change and moving to another state, but we couldn’t decide if we wanted to sell our house or rent it out. We crunched the numbers and it just seemed like maybe we should sit on it for a little bit. John scheduled a call and talk to us through all the the numbers and possibilities and made it clear that he would work with us to get the best situation possible - especially in this hot market! One thing we were really concerned about was timing. My husband received a job offer and we had to act quickly to make the move. John assured us he would find out if it were possible to do the closing out of state. After a bit of research, he confirmed that we should be good to go and we moved confidently ahead into taking our next step. As soon as we said the word, John worked quickly to get photos of the house and get it on the market - and within the first weekend we had several offers roll in. Within a few days we were under contract!
Several months ago, I made the difficult decision to sell my home and move to a retirement community. Drum roll please… Here comes John Schuchmans long awaited, highly anticipated and well deserved 5 star review! I’ve known for awhile that John deserves this review but I wanted to wait until everything was all wrapped up (🤞) with our ongoing real estate drama. I won’t go into all the details of our situation but I will say a few things about how John handled our deal. He is very much a person with integrity, this stands out to me most of all. Yes, he is backed by a real estate team/company but above that he is a good human. John was present during the buying of our new home and the selling of our old home, although the buying of our new home saw some bumps along the way this pales in comparison to what we experienced after the sale of our old home. I am EXTREMELY grateful for Johns guidance, specifically in how he sat us down and walked through each document while buying and selling. We didn’t sign one document that we didn’t understand and I can’t tell how important that turned out to be. I also assumed all Realtors were this way but apparently (based on our interaction with our buyer) they are not. John’s advice was always to be overly honest, disclose everything and be thorough. It seems intuitive right? His persistence made us think everything through and to be very intentional with full disclosure, and this paid off in the end. If you are reading this review because you are looking for a Realtor I strongly recommend John! Although he was relatively new to this profession 1 year ago when we met him, he more than made up for lack of experience with dedication, integrity and kindness. John stood by us even after our deals were done and continued to provide us with sound advice and the support we needed to get through some tough days!
