Over the years we have bought and sold over 10 properties. John was the nicest and most knowledgeable of all realtors we have dealt with. At all times he had our interests in mind.
John is professional and communicated very well at the beginning. After the contract was signed, there was a significant decrease in communication. When we asked John's help on a few things, his response was for us to do it. For example, we had to find and set up a house inspector ("here's a list to call"), we had to find the price of the home utilities ("just call around"), we had to schedule the final walk through with the sellers where he wasn't present. He never even called to see how we are doing after living in the new home. He didn't help us negotiate and didn't give any guidance. We felt like we did everything. Previous realtors we've had did everything, as they should because they are getting paid a LOT OF MONEY! If you want an experienced realtor who does minimal work, then John would be the realtor for you.
John sold our house in record time and above asking price which was way more that expected. This was largely due to him having researched the market and area beyond what we were expecting. The process had some hiccups but John coached us through to a fast closing. We would recommend him to anyone.
