We met John after arranging a local tour through Zillow. He immediately impressed us with his expansive knowledge about home ownership, both in the legal/purchasing domain and the home ownership/improvement domain. He gave us a no-bullcrap tour, was forthright and honest about the limitations and drawbacks of the property, and his honest opinion on what a good offer would look like. This stood in stark contrast from the other Agents we had been working with, who were mostly interested in getting us into any condo or house, no matter the quality or location. Over the next several months of tours, John was responsive, available, and deeply helpful through every stage of touring, evaluating, and putting an offer in of the many homes and condos we looked at. The search was long and frustrating, but John made it much easier. His experience helped us get tours in the area multiple times, he frequently had the local knowledge to tell us about pros and cons of each property even outside of the structure itself, and his focus was always on making sure the house was a good fit for us, frequently encouraging us to wait for a better option instead of cashing in his payment. The house we ended up getting wouldn't have been possible if John wasn't available for a same-day tour, where he negotiated our offer with the listing agent quickly enough to skip their open house, saving us a potential lengthy bid war. Even after the offer was accepted, John was available to talk and made it clear that he was a resource for us to go to for anything we needed. He's come through on that front, connecting us with great contractors and even offering up some plants to spruce up the garden. John was a class act throughout, was always fun and friendly, and (as I've highlighted) was an extremely trustworthy person in a field which feels like it's trying to take advantage of you. I don't think I could imagine a better agent than him, or a happier ending to our home search.

John was a constant source of knowledge and support throughout an unusually long period we experienced between P&S signing and closing due to the nature of the new project we purchased. He is a great communicator- he kept sellers accountable while keeping me informed of developments. It was a pleasure working with him!

Never visiting Boston or actually looking for a home there was overwhelming. We made several trips there over different weeks to hopefully find the perfect place. John helped us to look at numerous houses explaining what to look for and what not to look for. We looked on-line and found a few but he was quick to send us a website with all the local condos for sale within the areas that we were looking at. He even was able to point to a few that were coming on the market shortly. He really listened to what we were looking for and having lived in the same area before was able to point in the right direction on several places. He helped by understanding our needs and limitations while looking for our wants and wishes. In the end, am not sure how many condo's we actually looked at but it was several. Ultimately we were able to find a great place that we will have for a very long time. All of the staff we worked with were helpful and made us feel welcome to our new home.

We have used John as our realtor to buy and sell properties in the Medford, MA area. His knowledge of the area and real estate market is second to none. John proved to be an excellent partner for this important journey in someone's life: buying a home. He is a person with a long experience and patience. Sometimes making a decision like this takes time, and John had to show me several homes over a year and a half until we found the one that felt like home and checked all my boxes. Something important about John is his personalized follow-up, sending new opportunities that come on the market each week that specifically fit my needs and are not generic. He is someone who listens and quickly understands what you are looking for and how to balance that with what you have as a budget. A big difference with other agents is that he doesn't push you to go over your budget but he works hard to find what you want within your budget. Another good thing about John is that, thanks to his many years of experience, he knows everyone in the industry, and for people like me who are new to this and new to the city, it makes the process extremely easy because he points you in the right direction toward lenders, lawyers, contractors, etc. At one point, I thought about buying in another city, and he quickly gave me the contact information for another agent. I had to sell my previous house in another city, and he helped me with his contacts. His company works all over the country and also in Europe, which means you're pretty much covered anywhere with him. He's very good at communicating your needs to sellers. In my case, since we had to fix some things, he got a discount that was equivalent to the cost of the repairs. His good humor, seriousness, and competence mean that if I ever sell or buy again, I'll call him because he's already part of the family. note: he noticed how nervous i was with repair, so as a house warming he gave me an insurance policy for the repairs, that is the kind of guy he is.

John always made time to answer my questions and offered additional information helpful to me throughout the process.
