John Grimes was great to work with on the purchase of my first home. He is very professional, knowledgable, and honest. After having a terrible experience with a previous realtor, I was extremely hesitant with working with another... however John proved to have my best interest in mind at all times, which I am extremely thankful for. First off, John took the house my parents had been struggling to sell and worked his bum off to get people in the door. The difference between him and their previous experience was night and day. That alone was 5 star service. But then he had to manage our families crazy life. My father suddenly declined and entered his last few days of life while the house went under contract. Our family and John scrambled to make sure we had all the possibilities covered to make sure the sale could still go through for my mom. John figured out all the possibilities and made sure everything concluded smoothly. We couldn't be more thankful and happy with John!

Wow where do I start. I was buying a house from California, we knew we wanted to be in Georgia near Acworth. I posted in the Leaving California FB group and started a conversation with John about a year ago, we kept in contact then when it was time I reached out. He was not only our eyes, ears, he was our nose, nobody wants a house that smells of smoke or mold. We didn't have a huge budget, but that didn't matter to John (it is a big thing in the state we are leaving). We did a video walkthrough with him and my husband and I liked the house so we moved forward. He walked me through all the process, since coming from California things are very different then what I was used to. I decided to do all inspections (inspection, septic, pest control) he was at all of them, he did a video walkthrough with us and the inspector. The inspector even commented that it was one of the best looking houses that he has seen in a long time. He was along the ride with me the entire time, even at my closing last week. I would HIGHLY recommend John, he was amazing with the entire process.

I did a bunch of google searches on a great realtor and John's name came to the front of the line. This was a unique house on a very busy road so he had to find the perfect match and this was all well before the covid frenzy. He found that perfect person during a open house he had and closed the deal. Moving forward on the other two houses he sold for us were a bit easier but his negations skills I believe kept more money in my pocket.

If you want a great agent who is on top of the market with pricing and everything else John is the guy. He gives pointers and assists you all along the way from start to finish. When it come to negotiations he’s on top of it. I would highly recommend him if your looking for an agent.

This is now my fourth transaction I’ve done with John. I keep going back to him as he is always prompt, knows how to orchestrate a deal, and knows his markets. Unless I were to become a realtor myself, I will continue to use John going forward in the Atlanta metro area and the surrounding suburbs.
