Jody was recommended by mutual friends and it was a great choice. I was a first time home buyer and my husband a veteran of the buying process. She took the time to sit down and explain the process and all steps involved to me so that I knew what I was getting into. Jody helped us get our home ready for sale (even though we did a lot on our own because we wanted out!) and did everything she could to help us sell. Everyone knows there's bumps in the road during this process and even when things came up or we had issues, Jody was professional and handled with care. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she reached out to her coworkers and we had an answer quickly. When it came to the purchase of our new home Jody spent many weekends away from her family to show us probably close to 40 homes. Jody and I were in constant contact and I found a house online pretty much the same time she did (I think) and my husband and I went to an open house on our own followed by a follow-up showing with Jody. It was our home and she knew it because of our list of must haves and we put an offer in that night! Although we got stressed at times because of the sale of our home and post-inspection time on the new home, I couldn't have asked for a better experience in buying a home. This is one of those circumstances where I would say "I hope we get to work with you soon!!" but I don't want to move any time soon! I would highly recommend Jody to anyone buying a home. She cares and really wants to make you happy. Trust me, my husband (more so than me) can be tough to please and can be a stickler but we both wouldn't hesitate to utilize Jody's skills again in a heartbeat!

I can only echo all the comments in the other reviews. Jody is entirely competent, thoughtful, knowledgeable, recognized our needs and was successful in helping us find such a place that met them. She is clearly an experienced, mature and business like professional. I have no reservation in recommending her.

Jody was introduced to us by Steve Murphy who sold our previous home. We searched for close to a year taking breaks off and on for our wedding and other life events. Throughout Jody was always patient and nice to work with. We never felt pressured. When we finally found our house it was a last minute addition to other listings we were seeing that day. We immediately knew that we wanted to make an offer on the home and Jody helped us prepare an offer the same day, calling the listing agent in advance to notify her that an offer was coming. Jody also advised and assisted us with putting terms on the offer requiring a quick acceptance, which we felt went very well. Throughout the contract process, home inspection, roof inspection, chimney inspection (all on separate days I will note) Jody was available and present representing our interests. We presented quite an extensive list of repair requests after home inspection in which the sellers agreed and Jody again managed the list through closing and made sure everything was completed fully. We would recommend Jody as an agent. She is very responsive and knowledgeable. We felt our interests were represented well.

Jody helped us find our forever home. She was extremely helpful since we were moving from Baltimore City to AACO. We did not know much about the area and she was so helpful in finding us a home in a good school district and to not feel too far away from things She was very knowledgeable about the area and the process in general. She also was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a renter for our home in the city. WE would highly recommend Jody to anyone who is looking to sell, rent or buy a new home.

Jody proved to be an excellent realtor when it came time to sell our townhome and purchase a new home. Her confidence in our townhome selling quickly told us that we'd made the best choice, and 12 days after listing, it was sold! As a homebuyer, what do you want in an agent?  First off, you want someone that understands your desires.  We gave Jody Buck a brief idea of what we wanted, and she showed us several homes.  As she spoke with us while walking through the homes, she rapidly assimilated our ideas and incorporated our desires so that she showed us homes that fit with our concept.  There are other desirable traits in a realtor, and Jody fit the bill.  Almost immediately, we realized that we could trust Jody.  She was always forthright, available, courteous, friendly, and highly professional.  We gave her the tough task of finding not only the ideal home, but one that had a garage, and in addition, we required a specific neighborhood near our grandchild.  She never gave up looking.  Her knowledge of the area and of the real estate business is impressive, and she counseled us expertly in many areas, e.g., suitability of different homes, possible costs and desirability of renovations, and negotiating the purchase.  We recommend her highly.

I have worked with Jody through the past couple years on the purchase of 3 homes. She is very personable and takes the time to get to know her clients. The search for a home can sometimes be stressful however with Jody, even on days we looked at a half dozen properties, she made it enjoyable, even fun!
